How accurate is Awstats [version installed manually, not ops]

I have a couple advertising campaigns and one of them granted me 100,000 impressions of my ad on the sites pages.

The problem is, according to the site, my flash advertisement has appeared about 70,000 times already for the month of november. However, when I look at my awstats, it shows this under "Links from an external page (other web sites except search engines)":

http://www.sitemyadison.com/page.cgi 47 6259

Is this possible? The my awstats only show the file leeched [hit] about 6,259 times, though the publisher site claims about 70,000.
