SSL questions: Gold padlock in checkout, Red one in Admin

First off, thanks to everyone (especially Jade Dragon and Stevel) for posting a billion answers. I have a feeling the answer to my question is already here, but after spending all day searching for various other answers my eyes are dying on me. Anyway!

After much work I've aquired the ever elusive "gold padlock" on my site when I go to checkout. However, when I log into my admin site it says that the site is not secure and I have the 'red open padlock'. Does this matter? Are my clients and I safe?

THANKS!
Josh
P.S. I totally think you should put this link:

http://pownuke.com/oscommerce/index.php

as a sticky so the #1 thing people see is how to set up OSCommerce correctly on PowWeb servers. It woulda saved me a few hours today had I seen that and done things correctly the first time. Thanks! PowWeb rocks!

You need to log in using https for the admin section to be secure and you need to have the correct URL in your admin/includes/configure.php file. For HTTP_SERVER use https://yourdomaincom.secure.powweb.com.
