Hotel / Motel / Lodging Application Possibilities?

After playing around with OsCommerce for a few hours, I'm not sure it would work for my target application -- checking availability and rates, then booking rooms, cabins, snowmobile rentals at my motel.

I see that you can add arbitrary product options, so I could add date as an additional field. I don't see any built-in way, though, to do availability checks, show calendars, etc.

Any suggestions for OsCommerce add-on modules or other shopping cart solutions? I've found a few like phpMyHotels and Solunas, but they seem a little clunky to me.

That doesn't seem to be the type of market osCommerce is aimed at, and the way it keeps track of products would seem to me inconsistent with your application.
