Links Error

Hi Everyone!

My site is up and I'm so excited! Thank you to everyone who has posted on this forum, without you all it wouldn't have been possible!

I'm eager to start building my links page and promoting my site, and I installed a contribution for OSC called Links Manager v0.20. It works perfectly except that the links point to my site and then their site eg www.mysite.com.au/www.theirsite. I've racked my brains, read forums, spent many hours testing possible solutions and posted on the OSC forum asking for help, all to no avail. Could someone please, please help me on this? It's driving me slowly insane...

You can see what I mean at : http://shadowsphere.com.au/exchange_links.php/lPath/1

Thank you and have a great christmas everyone!

Best wishes,
Samantha.

I would guess that you have something incorrectly configured in the contribution, but I don't know this one at all. I suggest that you ask in the Links Manager Support Topic.

Thanks for the quick reply Steve

Yeah I've already posted there but nobody's replied yet...

I'll try reinstalling the contribution again.

Thanks anyway!

Try this - you may need to supply the full URL, including the "http://", when you specify your links. I think you are leaving that out which confuses the browser into thinking that it's a page on your site.
