Deleting Processed Orders

How can one delete processed orders from the database?

What records will the customer have of these processed orders if he needs them later on?

Is there a way to keep the orders in the database but once they are processed not have them show up?

Why would you want to do that? That defeats the whole idea of an order history. The orders should be marked as "Shipped", and therefore won't show up under other categories.
