Changing the look of OsCommerce
I know you are supposed to edit the catalog/include/language/english/index.php file for the text on the main page (although I am curious if you can add tables and images and such) But I am curious exactly how I can edit the look of the page. Is there a .html file or some thing to edit that will efet the entire site or is it more to it then that?
I would also like to thank Stevel for all his help with the store. Every things working nicely. Now I am just trying to figuire out editing the look of the page. Its a bit tricky. I have found several free templates, but I would like to create my own if possible. How ever if it would be easier to just get a template to do it, then I guess I will just have to do that instead. If there are any links to tutorials I would highly appreciate it. Any help is needed. If you are fluent with working with this, and I design some thing, I will pay for some one to hook it up for me if need be. My email is es@epicsavier.com so if you are interested contact me. Thanks ahead of time. www.pricetrim.com |

There are two "contributions" for osCommerce that allow you to apply your own style with relative ease. The one most people use is called BTS or Basic Template System. Go look in the contributions section at oscommerce.com for more information - I have not used these myself.
