Problems with Smoothflash Gallery Setup. Please HELP!!!!

I have bought a program called smoothflash.
http://www.smoothflash.com (all documentation of setup and manuals on this site).
I have followed the instructions by setting up a database as they have suggested but I cannot get further than setup.php when I get an error message. I'm happy to forward the whole program (zipped) only 740+KB so that someone else who is more knowledgeable can help me get this set up. (I'm in South Africa, so it is getting late and am off to bed. I've earned some zzzzzzs. . I'm hoping someone will have posted a reply or emailed me directly for the zip file. By the way, smoothflash will help with installation at a fee of $45 which I don't mind paying but I'm not sure whether they will be able to help or not. They also say that the problem is that powweb servers are slow and are not responding. ????

This is the message I get after typing in the details as requested in the setup.php file.
(my website is: http://www.melvillart.com/smoothflash/setup.php)

Patiently waiting for HELP from a KNIGHT IN SHINING ARMOUR.

Merle

Is it safe to assume you've created the database in OPS?

To find out what SQL server you're on, log in to OPS (http://ops.powweb.com), and select Hosting Packages | Web Site | mySQL The server is named in the first paragraph.

To set up your first database, log into http://ops.powweb.com then select: Hosting Packages | Billing/Plan | At the bottom, under "Additional Services" is the setup.

Keep in mind that usernames and passwords are cAse seNSiTivE.

(just goin' through the steps)

Have been through Ops

Hi,

Yes, I've been through ops and setup a database. Hosted on mysql09.powweb.com.

I have done this before on another site but with phpBB2 (http://www.siberianhusky.co.za) and also photogallery (http://www.denalibelay.com/gallery/) on other sites hosted with powweb); this is why I thought I would not have any problems and bought this program.

Regards,
Merle
