How big can my db's get?

How much space does Pow allocate me for my db's? I'm up to about 3GB now but I anticipate getting quite a bit larger. Sorry if this is in the FAQs or in the docs but I couldn't find it anywhere. My db's are not showing up as part of the space used by my site, which is very small.

Your DB is included with your total space.

Well, you have 5 gigs. So that could really be all the DB.

Example, you could have a 4 gig DB, with 1 gig of files on your webspace.

5 gigs is the total for everything.

Bummer - hard to track since I guess I have to go to two different places to determine the total of both. I guess there's no way to get that increased?

Run this code snippet as a webpage. It takes some time to add up on the account content. The number is the size without the database.
PHP Code:
<pre>
<?php

system
("/usr/bin/du -d 1 -h -c /www/u/user");

?>
</pre>

Question Add-on question

Does anybody know, if databases can be used accross packages, or is there a security barrier ?

I have used same DB across packages, but they are all on the same "cluster". I don't know if it will work across a "cluster".

?????

They do work across clusters. You can also access non-PW databases, but servers outside PW cannot access PW databases. Which is really annoying (and costly)!!!

Correct. Powweb does not allow remote connections.

Awesome.

I came here expecting a caveat (though I did read the fine print).
