INstall a nuke-php site

I have installed nuke on several cpanel websites. this cpanel here is very different. Does anyone know how to get the database setup correct in the confi.php file. I posted in the php forums and was given a link to read. I have accomplished that but it got me nowhere. Any help would be appreciated.

Acutally it is not cPanel (a specific server management product), OPS is Powweb's own account management tool.

I peeked at the other thread, and my question is, did you define a MySql database in OPS ? I did see you listed 'inuke' as it's name and mysql13 as server.

Have you been able to connect to the database using the phpmyadmin utility ?
Did you follow the installation description given in the other thread and have you gone thru this step:
Quote:
Uploading your SQL file to the database
- phpMyAdmin: click on the database name, click on the "SQL" tab in the main screen. Click "browse" button and find the Nuke.SQL file located in the "sql" folder. Click "go"

Yes, my sql file is uploaded to the database i created. I saw a thread about dowloading phpmyadmin and loading that up by ftp. is that what i need to do and what is that about. I have always used a cpanel and it is easy and straight forward as far as the user name, password, and dtatabase name entries to the config file.

The MySql admin tool that comes pre-installed is phpmyadmin. Some management functions of MySql need to be done in OPS, eg defining a database and creating database usernames/passwords and modifying grants/permissions. The link to phpmyadmin is listed there too, or use this one:
phpMyAdmin - https://phpmyadmin.powweb.com/

You can upload any other alternate web based admin tool of your choice if you wish.

You sign into the tool using the server name from the dropdown list, and using the database username/password combination you defined in OPS.
Then click on the database heading in the left margin and the details (empty still) will show to the right.
Click on the SQL tab in the heading.
Use Browse to locate the .sql script and Go to run it.

Sorry I have not replied sooner. I got help from tech support. It seems there was an erro in the .htaccess file. I am not sure if it was there by default or from my file upload. Once they fixed that my site came up. Might be a good thing to keep in mind for future users. Later and thanks!
