File Storage
Hi All,
I'm a new user here. I want to upload some files to my site and be able to access them from other locations. What is the File size Limitation? Also, which is the easier - Frontpage, Dreamweaver, or an FTP program? Is there a step by step tutorial on this? Finally, is it absolutely necessary to create a web page to do this? Sorry is these questions seem simple - but like I said, I am a beginner and learning the ropes here. |

From your question it seems you want to use your webspace at Powweb service to store files to be accessed by another domain. If I'm wrong please clarify.
You will have to have a fully-qualified domain name pointed at powweb servers to access the files. You may want to check with Powweb to see if this is not a violation of TOS. Not really sure. If it's not then you will need at least an index.html page. An FTP program would probably be the way to go with what you want to do. There used to be a file limit of 10mb. That has changed. If the files you are accessing are so large that it drags a server down and affects other websites on the same server, I'm sure there will be a problem and Powweb will address it accordingly. You need to go here, read and undertand the TOS. http://www.powweb.com/policy.html
