When i switch ON my pc, it doesn't display anything though it is consume the power. i have check all the accessories and connections, they are ok.
The main thing is, this problem doesn't occure every time. If i keep it in rest for 2 or 3 hours then it start working and after reset it doesn't start. What should i do? Anyway, PC components are: Intel Celeron 500 MHz, Intel 815EEA Mainboard, 128 DIMM RAM, 10 GB HDD, builtin AGP (4MB) and Soundcard. |

Let me see if I understand you correctly...
Your computer will work when you first start it? But if you reboot the computer after it being used it will not start? After it sits for 2 or 3 hours and cools down it will start working again? Is this correct? |

One thing try.
Check to see if you have a power switch on the back of the computer, usually somewhere close to where the power cord attaches. If there is, then turn it off and then hold your front power button in for at least 10 seconds. Release the front power button, turn on the main power switch (in the back) and then try to fire up the system. Other than that, which is caused by over heating in the power supply, you could have one of the other motherboard chips that is getting too warm. Even the on board video chips can overheat and cause similar problems. Even though your CPU is running at normal temperature, other chips can be getting too warm due to a weakening condition and you would never know it. Does your system have an onboard network connection? I have seen some Intel systems with onboard network chips that will over heat and cause similar problems. Turning off the onboard ethernet (network) chip in bios and replacing with a standard ethernet card has fixed those problems. Just my "For What It's Worth" |
