Migration Help

I tried putting this in another post but it didnt seem to help.

Right now I have 3 domains, 1 pointing to the main htdocs folder, and 2 pointing to directories within the htdocs folder. In addition I have a lot of subdomains in root/subdomain/htdocs.

Many of the files on the server are just html that should be easy to move. The problem I'm having though, seems to be with the domain names or the forums. I have an SMF forum bridged with Joomla and when I used automated migration I got errors.

According to my QA Results Tool, I have 366 errors and most of them are File Mismatch errors such as:
Quote:
/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=17&itemi d=99999999 Not OK File Mismatch
I switched migration to manual but I'm not sure how to continue.
The forum itself seems to work fine on the new server without the bridge.
On the main Joomla site i get this error:
Quote:
Fatal error: smf_header_include(): Failed opening required '/www/k/k30248/htdocs/forums//SSI.php' (include_path='.:/usr/local/lib/php-4.4.2/lib/php') in /hermes/web10/b2495/pow.k30248/htdocs/mambots/system/SMF_header_include.php on line 63
I don't know if this is a problem either, but the new server seems to have files I deleted a few months ago, although of the files that are currently there seem to be recent.

Ok, I found out how to fix some of the other stuff like the bridging.

Right now everything looks fine, other than all those extra files I deleted a few months ago that are on the new server.

Should I ignore those 366 File Mismatch errors (like the example listed above) and go ahead and do the domain flip thing? Will all those extra files that dont match the old server get erased?

So I can ignore the File Mismatch errors? Do i really have to go through and click ignore 370 times?

It shows "(370 errors found)" but the QA results are only showing 252 of them and theres no next page or anything.

Umm, okay. I guess I ended up clicking "Ignore" 252 times, but I can't see the other 118 errors. Should I just do the flip?

k30248 -

This depends on the types of errors, but if you've not noticed any changes between old and new and know how to prepare for any issues based on the files you're migrating, then by all means. Do the flip.
