Need to know nice site for comp parts...
so far ive gone to

I just dont know where to go. So, anyone have any good sites. I know my cousins husband knows a guy who can get cheap motherboards, processors, and ram so im gonna get the hook up on that. What else would i need to add to my list for a computer?

http://www.pricewatch.com Not to be confused with Priceline.... Pricewatch.com is a listing of different companies that have parts at the lowest prices. The lower your price, the higher you're listed. I've gotten several great parts (motherboards, processors, hard drives, DVD-ROM, etc.) from the listings there. Good luck! |

I go with www.pricewatch.com too...all the time. I got some really good deals from their sites.

When shopping for price, I always check eBay. I know there are horror stories galore. That's why I always look for the professional sellers. That doesn't always mean a guy with a brick and mortar storefront, but if you look at the auction ads, you can almost always spot the better sellers. I prefer a seller with three things (a) a Feedback of over 1000 with very few negatives (its going to be a miracle for anyone in the computer parts biz to come through 1000 eBay transactions without one or two problems), (b) a reasonable return policy (at least covering DOA parts), and (c) they accept credit cards with their own merchant account (I often use PayPal, but I want my credit card protections involved directly for large purchases).

Best Sites
Pricewatch is cool but some of those sites arn't certified by VeriSign. One site i've ordered from that has good prices on some parts is TCWO.COM, also TIGERDIRECT.COM has great sales alot on SDRAM and such.
I built my computer from those 2 sites for 700 dollars. Great sites. Hope this helps. |

I can't believe no one mentioned www.tigerdirect.com. I built my whole PC with parts from them (except my HP cd writer). The have bare bones systems and everything you need (or want).
