What is the PROBLEM?!

I have always tried to be very patient when it came to my site: downtime, slowness, etc. But this is really starting to piss me off ...

Why is my site taking 60 seconds or MORE to load new pages in Wordpress and Gallery2? I think it is absolutely ASSININE that it's faster for me to use Flickr to organize my pics than it is for me to use my own site's gallery - I actually pay for this? Flickr is free and is used by thousands and thousands of people, but it is still ten times faster than this Powweb-hosted site that I am actually PAYING for. What is the problem?

i've been having the same problem for the last 2 days (since i migrated) - I posted a new thread asking the same thing..

I hope the people running the new platform realize they have some issues and get working on it.. an acknowledgement of the issues would be nice too..

FOR ALL OF YOU THAT ARE EXPERIENCING THE SAME PROBLEM: I think we all need to go into OPS (or call) and log a ticket each time you have this (or any problem) - if we dont tell them about the problems, they CANT/WONT fix it!!

I've logged 3 tickets about this in the last 2 days..

Agreed, I always log a ticket. I have had more tickets logged and more downtime since my migration than the entire 5 years I have been with powweb.

This needs to be fixed right now. It's gone on long enough. Increase the speed and responsiveness of http and mySQL or I am out of here. I have been a customer for an over a year and I am tired of the same ole excuses.

Right now, I am not going to get into the https problem but things have just gotten worse since the migration. Everything is so frickin slow.

Today, it has been really bad. It takes over 10 seconds for my site to respond. I hate loading my own site. If I hate it, then no one else is going to have the patience that it takes to load my site.

Fix this or I will move my site. I will host a forwarder here until my powweb credits expire!

Things are better now but why the big slowdowns? Was someone stepping on a cable or something?

Not improved here, actually ... I'm waiting 60+ seconds for Gallery2 pages to load ... I guess that is considered acceptable? It's a Gallery2 page with 9 180x180 thumbnails that I've already seen before (so they're not being generated on-demand) ... I'm just getting more and more annoyed about this. Unfortunately I've been really busy the past week, and out of town a few days - but I fully intend to start loggin tickets until this ridiculous mess is resolved ... I see people complaining about 10 second load times for their sites, for me that would be a MASSIVE, INCREDIBLE improvement.

I'm so ****ing sick of waiting for pages to load and trying to edit stuff in WP and G2 ... Am I being unreasonable in thinking that 60+ second load times are a bit much?

Half the time I post in here, send in a email or anything, I get a slow responce or no responce at all. My site has been down for the last 5 days now. No one can give me an answer on when it will be fixed. I don't have time to call or chat live, but that should not matter, an email should be just as good, or a post in these forums. Although 5 days and no fix. Now thats SLOW!!!
